Then he shall confirm a covenant with

Many for one week;

But in the middle of the week

He shall bring an end to sacrifice and

Offering.

And on the wing of abominations shall be

one who makes desolate,

Even until the consummation, which is determined,

Is poured out on the desolate.

Daniel 9:27

            Between the last trumpet judgment and the first bowl judgment there are four full chapters of Revelation Scripture.  These chapters also coincide with the middle of the Tribulation, which, next to the Glorious Appearing, is the most dynamic period of the entire Tribulation.  With 25% percent of the human population still yet to die, the war between God and Satan is going to come to a head, and ultimately Antichrist is going to reveal his true colors.  We have three and a half years to go friends.  Hang on tight.

And a great sign was seen in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. And she was with child; and she gave a cry, in the pains of childbirth.

Many interpretations have been given as to who this heavenly woman will be.  Some have said she is Mary the mother of Jesus.  Still others have arrogantly (if not blasphemously) claimed to be the woman themselves.  However, because this passage describes her as a great sign it is more likely that she is figurative and not a literal person.  Further Mary did not give birth to Christ in heaven as this passage describes.  The most likely interpretation is that she is the Nation of Israel.

This interpretation is supported by an ancient dream had by Joseph from the book of Genesis.  Genesis 37: 9-11 reads:

Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers.
