It seems a bit ridiculous to me that people, especially in the media, keep saying that Jesus never mentioned certain sins, as if that justifies committing them. Yet people keep failing to mention what He did say, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11). Jesus never failed to recognize sin. He was a friend to prostitutes, tax collectors, adulterers, you name the sin, He was probably friends with them. He didn’t condone their sin – He changed their lives. In fact, the only ones He ever condemned were the self-righteous. We are all sinners. The question is will we let the God who loves us and is love change us and save our lives for eternity.
